- OBJECTIVES
1.
Archiving
& Preservation:
Pankaj Mullick has left
behind a vast musical legacy that, preserved properly, shall enrich the
students and followers of music alike. These include published and
unpublished songs and tunes in the form of recordings and score-sheets as
well as documents of research that led to his compositions. Then there are
the photographs and the movies he featured in that bear visual testimony
of his genius and popularity as a singer, composer, actor, teacher,
scholar and administrator. These
are with his family and fans. The Foundation is in the process of
collecting them from fans and private collectors stationed locally and
abroad and collating and cataloguing them. Attempts are on to have them
restored and preserved digitally so that there is no further degeneration.
2.
Promotion
& Propagation: The legacy of Pankaj
Mullick has survived the ravages of time and the Foundation is trying its
level best to keep it that way. Processes are in motion and the progress
satisfactory.
3.
Dissemination:
The
Foundation is trying to spread awareness about the myriad creative works
of Pankaj Kumar Mullick through various forms of media and by following
various methodologies.
4.
